Mrs. DeSimone has represented municipalities in areas involving public bidding, public contracting, cable television, cellular towers, OPRA, challenges to municipal ordinances, zoning enforcement, contract disputes, Title 59 issues and foreclosures involving affordable housing units. She also has extensive municipal court experience. Mrs. De Simone currently serves as the Municipal Prosecutor for Manalapan Township and Millstone Township. She has also served as Assistant Municipal Prosecutor in the Township of Wall, the Borough of Colts Neck and Township of Neptune. In addition, Mrs. De Simone provides effective legal representation to private clients in civil litigation actions, foreclosure actions, landlord-tenant matters, real estate matters, estate planning matters and guardianship actions.
Susan received her undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. Following graduation, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Leopold A. Monaco, J.S.C. in the Superior Court, Passaic Vicinage.
She is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, District Court for the District of New Jersey, as well as in the District of Columbia.
Susan is a member of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys and a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association.
